Every society has some sort of prominent or discreet social injustice, but it is ultimately the decision of the citizen(s) to choose whether to ignore that injustice and disregard it because “it is justified”, or to stand up against it and/or remove their contribution to it. Helping him does not aid the regular citizens’ selfish lifestyle and therefore the society chooses not to.Ģ. ![]() ![]() The happiness and prosperity of the community are dependent on him, even if it means that he is suffering. The child locked in the small, dirty room represents the bottom of a society’s social structure where the inhabitants face injustice. ![]()
